Profil

Till Becker graduated in Information Systems in 2006 from the University of Münster. After graduation he worked for two years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an IT auditor. In 2008 he switched to Jacobs University Bremen to work as a Research Associate, and he spent three months as a visiting researcher at ETH Zürich in 2010. His research included autonomous control in logistics, the comparison of industrial production and metabolic processes in biology, and robustness in manufacturing systems. He received his PhD with special distinction in 2012 and stayed for another year as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Jacobs University. From 2014 to 2018 he was head of the Junior Research Group “Production Systems and Logistic Systems” of the Faculty of Production Engineering and the BIBA Institute at the University of Bremen. He is a Research Affiliate of the International Academy of Production Engineering (CIRP). Since August 2018 Till Becker is Professor at the Faculty of Business Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer.
