Hendrik Stern studied Industrial Engineering from 2007 to 2013 in Bremen (Germany) and Padova (Italy) with focus on system development and innovation. His master's thesis and a yearlong project work dealt with spare part logistics for wind energy plants. He developed concepts for requirement planning and lifetime prognosis of components. Since August 2014 he is research associate at the Junior Research Group “Production Systems and Logistic Systems” of the Faculty of Production Engineering and the BIBA Institute at the University of Bremen. His current research focuses on Human Factors in Cyber-physical production systems.
